Could I be anymore excited? It's Spring, color decorates the gardens everywhere, fluffy signets waddle at the edges of the lake and dragonflies hover over water ribbons like some sort of military exercise in action. Lunch times now are with fly rod in hand, enjoying a simple lunch under the willow tree and time spent practicing my casting. It was a stunning lunch break today, not much wind so casting was becoming pretty accurate. Pity they haven't stocked it with Rainbows yet, and I'm not sure if they will this season. I had a delicious Turkish bread with prosciutto and provolone cheese from Campana's, our favorite deli and cellar run by three generations of Australian-Italians. Such a small thing, but boy does it make me feel all happy and joyous inside eating nice food. Simple pleasures blah blah blah.I remember when I used to work at the head office of Australia's largest retail conglomerate. The H/O was in the inner burbs, with nothing of interest near by. So I sat at my desk and munched my lunch. Just rad. And people ask me when we're moving back to Melbourne. Yeah right.
